Legend Brands is hiring a CNC Machinist Lead for our Prescott AZ location. Under general supervision, the CNC Machinist Lead is responsible for programming CNC machines for basic operation and perform all machine operations required to product finished products from a variety of raw materials, such was stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
Perform set up of various parts including programming and/or program editing
Recommend changes to processes or procedures to improve quality and productivity
Schedule and organize work to ensure continuous supply of machined components to downstream assembly processes
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
Detect and report malfunctions in machine operation
Run production lots
Perform daily maintenance on machinery
Maintain safe, organized work environment as well as cleanliness of the equipment
Perform necessary tasks and paperwork for the proper movement and control of parts
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years relevant work experience plus trade school or associates' degree desirable
Computer skills to create CNC programs and set up sheets using CAD/CAM software (MasterCam experience preferred)
Working knowledge of G-Code
Ability to use tools and machinery
Ability to perform inspection of machined parts
Self-starter
Prior experience with both Lathe and Milling CNC machinery
Hiring Range:
Between $31.00 - $34.75 per hour
