Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the management of parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing parts to ensure availability and accuracy.
Forecasting and Planning: Analyze historical data, sales trends, and customer demand to forecast parts requirements. Develop inventory plans and purchasing strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for parts procurement.
Purchasing: Place orders for parts and accessories from suppliers based on inventory requirements, customer demand, and pricing considerations. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of parts to meet customer needs and repair schedules.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and quality of parts received. Inspect incoming parts for defects, damage, or discrepancies and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by identifying and recommending parts and accessories for customer vehicles. Assist customers with parts inquiries, orders, and availability information.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and accurate assistance to customers regarding parts inquiries, orders, and returns. Resolve customer complaints and issues related to parts purchases.
Staff Management: Supervise and train parts department staff, including parts associates, clerks, and delivery drivers. Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed to ensure departmental goals are met.
Budgeting and Reporting: Develop and manage the parts department budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring costs, and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and other key metrics.
Qualifications:
Automotive Parts Experience: Previous experience in automotive parts management, preferably in a dealership or automotive repair facility, with a strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
Inventory Management Skills: Proficient in inventory management techniques, including inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counting. Experience with inventory management software systems is desirable.
Supplier Relations: Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with parts suppliers and vendors. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers, resolve issues, and provide assistance with parts inquiries and orders.

Service cases conferences, Arbitration Panels, contract meetings, confidential meetings and other forums as required, producing high-quality minutes and clear, unambiguous records of key decisions.
Provide financial administrative support, including processing payments, compensation claims, fees, raising of purchasing orders, virements and provision of appropriate budget reports for management reporting.
Work with managers in the Repairs Contact Centre and other areas of the service to resolve operational issues, complaints and enquiries, ensuring the company's deadlines for responses are complied with.
Manage the delivery of complex repairs and leaks as required, including the planning, sequencing and coordination of works.
Essential criteria and experience:
Relevant experience of working in an administrative/business support role, ideally in a social housing/repairs environment.
Experience of working in a building maintenance environment, with direct involvement in the delivery of customer-focused services
An understanding of housing management, repairs and maintenance, and tenancy law would be beneficial.
Good understanding of effective approaches to customer care and complaints resolution.
A working knowledge of IT systems relevant to the service (e.g. repairs ordering systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Industrial and Electrical Engineers with hands-on mechanical & chemical experience will also be considered. 7+ years of engineering job experience. Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Loader to join their growing team, situated close by to Maidstone.
As the Warehouse Loader, you will be working as part of a 3 man team within a larger 5 shift team. The role principally requires the removal and locating of finished reels into the warehouse, preparing reels for dispatch and dispatching vehicles to the end customer.
Duties include:
- A full understanding and use of the business system for the control of all products entering or leaving the warehouse.
- Storing, locating, repacking, and recording products within warehouses.
- Carrying out quality control actions resulting from production or logistic requirements.
- Loading of trailers with the correct quality and in the correct sequence with the correct product to the required standard.
- Unloading of product and locating product with the correct documentation.
- Monitoring the health of plant, equipment, and processes using all available systems.
- To monitor, record, and report defects of all material handling equipment to onsite engineers and management.
- To take or initiate any corrective action necessary within the process or plant to ensure continuity of production.
- To maintain excellent communications with the shift manager, other process operator groups, and maintenance engineers to ensure efficient planning and decision making is achieved.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within a warehouse environment.
- A valid external / in house Counterbalance Certification is desirable but not essential.
- Manual handling skills.
- Good IT skills and previous experience using warehouse software.
- Previous experience using an IMS (Integrated Management System) is desirable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety

The Role In a Nutshell

You will work closely with teams across the business and have recognised visibility with the commercial and Customer units, providing analytical expertise and insight. The Role
As the Business Forecasting Manager, you will lead analysis and insight and be responsible for forecasting this key metric, contributing towards defining major targets (e.g. revenue, market share) for the business.
