We are currently looking for a Quality Director to join a leading pharmaceutical company in the South East of the UK. As the Quality Director, you will manage, maintain, and improve quality and compliance across multiple global entities, ensuring strategic alignment with the companys business plan. You will be accountable for compliance with legal requirements, including Manufacturers/Importers Authorisation, Wholesale Dealers Authorisation, and Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practices (GMP/GDP).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key responsibilities as the Quality Director will be:
1. Lead and manage the global Quality, Technical, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to GMP and GDP standards. You will oversee Qualified Persons (QPs) and manage product certification across multiple locations.
2. Review and optimise the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure all quality systems are compliant with regulatory bodies like MHRA and foreign authorities.
3. As the Quality Director, you will provide expert advice to the board on quality matters and collaborate with senior leadership on business strategy and quality improvement plans.

This Process Operator position is with a globally leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company that are willing to invest heavily into the successful candidate to promote their personal development. This 6 months, FTC is offering £33,000-£35,000 including shift allowance. The Process Operator will be working 12-hour days, nights and weekend shifts on a 24/7 rota for 7 weeks, followed by an 18-day break. Taking this opportunity as Process Operator would mean working for a leading global producer of pharmaceuticals. This is a key manufacturing company relied on by many industries and this Process Operator role is critical to ongoing operation! Responsibilities of a Process Operator will include:
Carrying out sampling activities whilst producing API/intermediates and working efficiently to meet daily requirements.
Keep operational activities to a high standard in line with plant and business goals.
Utilise problem solving skills when resolving issues and identify root causes of deviations.
Use industry knowledge to improve plant performance whilst maintaining site housekeeping standards and carrying out required safety checks.
Responsible for a safe, shift handover, raising any problems in production or on plant.
Perform emergency response activities as required.
Carry out sampling activities and quality checks.
Experience and Qualifications required:
To be successful in this position as Process Operator, an established technical background with experience in a production or operations environment on a COMAH site within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing would be beneficial.
