About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years’ post qualified experience is essential for this role. You will have significant experience in Children’s Social Work, including Looked After Children and Child Protection, with experience in Assessment, Safeguarding or within a Disabled Children’s Team.
What's on offer?
Up to £42.00 per hour umbrella rate (PAYE payment options available also)
6 month minimum contract

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join the Older People and Physical Disabilities Team.

About the team
This team works with vulnerable adults over the age 65+ within the community. This team will support those that may have physical disabilities along with dementia. Within this team there is responsibilities to attend face to face visits and work along side other supporting agencies for the best interest of the client. There will be expectations as a social worker to contribute towards care packages, carry out the relevant assessments and carry out best interest decisions.
About you
A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with relevant legislation. Experience within complex care, Locality and Older People will be desired for this post.

AfC employees in Guernsey awarded a further 5.8% from the 1st January 2024.Our client is the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands; we are seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join their Community Adult Recovery and Rehabilitation Mental Health Team.The team comprises; Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Band 5 and Band 6 Mental Health Nurses and Support Workers who support patients suffering with a severe mental illness, who require intensive treatment and interventions.Working within a multi-disciplinary specialist service providing treatments for people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems, the team reduces the frequency of hospital admissions and length of stay; reduce/minimise symptoms of mental illness and increase independence and social inclusion.Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.The Guernsey Band 5 salary range from 1st Jan is £36,900 to £47,590 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.Additionally there is an extra £3,000 bonus payment made on your two and four year anniversary.Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
