The Role - Mechanical Fitter:
- Work from Engineering Drawings to build large industrial units
- Sub assembly as well as final assembly duties
- Use varying different hand tools and measuring equipment
- Testing units following re-assembly to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Mechanical Fitter:
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler in an industrial environment
- If possible have completed an apprenticeship C&G/NVQ 3 (not essential)
- Able to use hand and power tools
