Your Role as a Mechanical Fitter Will Include:
Mechanical fitting, assembly, overhaul and refurbishment of specialist equipment
Stripping, surveying, inspecting and testing mechanical components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Carrying out mechanical repairs within a workshop environment
Completing technical documentation and inspection reports
Working to high quality and health & safety standards
The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Need:
Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Assembly Fitter or similar
Workshop-based mechanical fitting or overhaul experience
Experience working on rotating equipment is advantageous
Ability to read engineering drawings
Mechanical engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
