Synergi are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a FMCG company in Chichester. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer would be joining one of the UK’s successful Manufacturers in their field. This is an ideal position for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a proactive and likes working within a team oriented environment.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing reactive and Planned Maintenance to ensure standards are hit. You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions. Responsibilities of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work; including breakdowns and planned maintenance to the production line machinery
The ability to Fault Find on automated machinery.
Drive and initiate continuous improvement across the factory to enhance quality, efficiency, performance, safety and waste reduction
Provide support to other engineering teams and contractors as required.
To update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required

Primary Purpose of Job: Joining the team as a Dimensional Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibration of measuring equipment to both ISO9001 and ISO 17025 requirements in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS publications, and other internationally recognised specifications. The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the integration of Ansys in the design process and contribute to product testing and development initiatives.
This role may require occasional site and customer visit.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct mechanical, fluid dynamics, and thermal analyses using manual calculations and Ansys.
* Participate in the creation of PPAP documentation and support the quality department through the APQP process.
