This will then be followed by a 10 day workshop at In-Comm
The successful candidate will complete their lean manufacturing operative level 2 apprenticeship qualification
Dependent upon prior qualifications learners may also need to complete functional skills in maths and English
Training Outcome:
Potential to have a full time position at FCB and progress within the organisation from general operator to team leader, charge hand, supervisor, and foreman over time

As our Mechanic Operator you are responsible for both the maintenance and operation of filling and packaging equipment. ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
Must be capable of operating basic cleaning equipment, including but not limited to, tub washer Plant #1, incinerator Plant #2, vacuum cleaners and hoses, floor buffers and scrapers and all other cleaning equipment. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
Run trash compactor in Plant #2 alley. Keep alley clean. Clean tubs in Plant #1, by hand or by tub washer equipment as required. Pick up rags on a daily basis and store them in proper container. Rags are watered down nightly in Plant #1. Load trash truck and sort skids. Clean all Lunch and Locker rooms in the manufacturing area. Keep up to Date inventory of cleaning supplies. Order as needed. Run vacuum hoses in Plant #2 in designated areas. Do whatever cleaning inside or outside that is required. Maintain a clean work area. Safely operate all equipment associated with a given process. Use prescribed safety equipment, when performing duties. Communicate any variations/problems to appropriate Management Personnel.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Have the ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand simple math. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must pass lift truck operator's test.
