Primary Purpose of Job: Joining the team as a Dimensional Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibration of measuring equipment to both ISO9001 and ISO 17025 requirements in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS publications, and other internationally recognised specifications. Must have previous experience of using and calibrating SOME of the following equipment: vernier callipers, micrometers, DTI’s (dial test indicators), various gauges (pin, plug, ring, screw and height), engineer squares, pressure / force gauges or torque equipment to in-house standards.
Must be able to interpret Engineering drawings with a good understanding of Geometric Tolerances.
Able to work to metric and imperial measurements.
Must be PC Literate (MS Word & MS Excel), Outlook / Email

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
The primary result expected from the Floating Night Shift Supervisor is to supervise the people at the facility and ensure the safe manufacture of products. Apply MS-168/Continuous Improvement principles to all aspects of the manufacturing process to drive improvement in production efficiency, product quality, and employee engagement. Ensure effective MS-168 Tier 1 meetings across departments. Ensure all departments are maintained in a clean, orderly and efficient fashion through utilization of 5S principles. Train, motivate, and manage the hourly production staff within the manufacturing process. Oversee performance skills matrix updates, initiates commendations, improvement plans and disciplinary action, as required. Work with/coordinates efforts between Quality Control, Engineering, R&D, and Maintenance departments for continual improvement of production efficiency and quality. Prepares and maintains accurate data reporting and analysis, as required, and provides management with appropriate information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
3 - 5 years departmental/plant experience in a Chemical manufacturing environment, preferably with liquid tint dispersions. Must be a role model from an EH&S standpoint. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer:
Own and manage whole assignments with a worth of up to £1 million.

You will be required to complete technical review of vendor quotations, and clear recommendations on quotation analysis sheets.
