JOB PURPOSE:
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for selling company products to Home Depot retailors in assigned region of NYC Metro. Builds and maintains relationships with retail partners in order to sell company products to end-users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sells company products through building and maintaining relationships with retail partner-Home Depot Creates awareness and demand for company products. Addresses product and brand specific questions from consumers and store staff. Showcases and promotes products through in-store demonstrations, district events, and contractor events. Provides store assistance with handling customer issues, including providing store management guidance with resolution. Ensures proper promotional placement, adequate POP, proper inventory levels, and effective down stocking Trains retail staff on new and existing company products. Maintains and repairs merchandising displays and sets shelving according to provided planograms. Performs other duties as assigned in the interest of Rust-Oleum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Entry level to 2 years of experience with a basic knowledge of retail merchandising, product promotions, and product demonstrations. Ability to build relationships with a variety of people and communicate in a style that is friendly, relatable, and persuasive. Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. The broad purpose of a machine tool application engineer is to support new & existing Mazak customers in setting up, optimisation and operation of their CNC machine tool.
Supporting customers across all manufacturing sectors including, aerospace, defence, medical, oil & gas, energy, and high performance automotive.
As part of the role, machine tool application engineers will provide technical support & expertise for all areas of the engineering and manufacturing function.
This begins with presale support involving a comprehensive analysis of machine requirements and includes process definition and development, machine selection and time estimates.
Following the sale of a machine tool, support is provided, from onsite application support through to project management of a completely bespoke machining solution (including machine tool, automation, measurement solutions, CAD/CAM and process training).
In their daily work, a machine tool application engineer will liaise with customers via email, in person and telephone to provide technical support. They will also program, set up and operate various CNC machine tools including lathe, machining centre, 5 axes multitasking and laser technology. Another aspect of the role requires the engineer to deliver Mazatrol program training to new users in the Mazak training academy. They will also interact with various stakeholders, both internal & external suppliers. As a customer facing role, the application engineer works closely with the sales team to provide technical support, machine tool demonstrations and engineering solutions to customer requirements. Typically, reporting to the applications' manager, they should be able to work with minimal supervision.
Training:Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Worcester (WR4 9GN):
Duration is approximately 40–45 months.
Year 1 includes 29–42 weeks off-the-job training to cover practical and theory aspects.
Year 2 would include 1 day per week to complete the EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Development Knowledge.
Years 3&4 will be based in company developing skills in preparation for the end point assessment to gain your Machining Technician Level 3 qualification.
You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment.
Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This role educates WTI personnel on proper product use and application, provides installation training on and off the roof, and oversees large self-performed projects from start to finish with intermittent inspections and post-completion inspections of smaller projects. The QCS will perform regular job site visits during the project and after project completion. The goal is to provide consistency across the country with proper roof repairs and application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in the field and in a shop setting. Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-con's on large projects. Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work. Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice. Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the projects have a zero punch list. Perform final inspections when needed. Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to: Peel tests Product recommendations Proper product installations Post-project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation. Perform roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation. Perform safety audits while on site to ensure all safety requirements are being met and consult with the safety team when necessary. Communicate professionally with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team. Complete daily reports, including DTAs, safety audits, truck audits, and QC inspection reports, as necessary and applicable. Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested. Support the region as needed when the weather conditions do not allow for your normal job responsibilities. Additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including built-up, modified, single-ply, and metal. Working knowledge of roof coating systems. Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude. Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems). In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products. Intimate knowledge of our product line. Must be able to travel within assigned territory up to 75% of the time with overnight trips included.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of roofing, roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience. Prior experience in a field service leadership role. History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation. Prior experience and demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task. Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $72,000 and $90,000. Website management Manage all aspects of the business website. Including and not exclusive to: • Product management on the website ensuring everything we sell is on there: pricing, images, availability, description, information • Data capture through CRM • Email marketing • Data analysis • Competitor research • Make and keep good stakeholder relationships • Customer service • Manage deliveries and packaging • Manage seo• Keep up to date and in line with GDPR, cyber security, trading laws, and copyright law
Other platforms:
• Manage and grow Deliveroo, uber eats, just eat• This includes products on there- descriptions, images, availability
The overall business:
You must also have general and good knowledge of all product and service offerings across the store and be able to support if needed other aspects of the business from time to time to cover holidays or sickness. Be available 5 days per week, 9-5pm including weekends for eventing which will be discussed and agreed as required.
