As a UPS Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and fault-finding on UPS systems across client sites, primarily in southern and central England.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well established life sciences organisation based in the Edinburgh area.
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will join a small team of in-house engineers and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance in an efficient and timely manner in a number of buildings including offices, laboratories and other research facilities. You will also be required to carry out any maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment. Working cross-functionally across the site and communicating the unscheduled downtime to the Maintenance Lead and offering solutions
Repairing and maintaining Mechanical Breakdowns on a variety of machines such as Carding, Laminating, and Packaging Automation Machinery etc.
Participate in Continuous Process Improvements and regular troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive Electrical Maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
Covering planned and reactive maintenance activities across manufacturing lines
Help to drive plant improvements and increased efficiencies
Identify and resolve recurring plant issues through engineering improvements (RCA)
Carry out work upon all electrical elements such as motors, invertors, safety circuits, performing basic fault finding on PLC’s etc. Extensive training will also be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems along with further upskilling opportunities.
Enhance plant reliability with best practices using CMMS
Required Experience & Qualifications:
