The Role of the Sales Engineer – Life Science
Field based applications role involved in commissioning and specification of products used in the life science sector for fluid handling applications.
Typical products are Thermo Controllers, chiller technology, gas control, analysers, valves and lots more!
There will be joint visits with the sales team as well as individual visits.
Will be doing product demo's, workshops, show stands etc...
Working on complex systems with their products integrated. Focussing on life science, pharmaceutical and semi-conductor markets.
Ideally based centrally in the UK.

Commercial awareness and ideally be able to spot additional opportunities and make appointments.

A background in process instrumentation sales.

Training:
You'll undertake a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship with HNC in Applied Science over the course of 24 months
You will study for a Level 4 Science Qualification alongside the apprenticeship

Holding the responsibility to maintain lab cleanliness, supplies and tidiness (cleaning, disposal of Samples and expired stock, waste disposal etc.)
Assisting in maintaining laboratory equipment, equipment records within laboratory areas, assisting with the pipette calibration process and relevant lab archiving
Sample management tasks (Receiving and booking in samples, processing of samples and checking of samples prior to analysis)

Monitoring the temperatures of storage areas
