Role Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in residential property to join their Residential Property team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal services to the firm's clients, primarily in relation to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
- Liaise with clients, agents, and introducers regarding the progress of transactions.
- Ensure that services are delivered efficiently.
- Manage a personal caseload with the support of an assistant and naturally offer support to fellow team members.
- Participate in business development opportunities and events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer. However, all candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Residential Property will be considered.
- Expertise in key areas of law and procedure related to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Commercial and financial awareness, including the ability to take responsibility for the financial control of client matters.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and manage client expectations effectively.
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
- Marketing, networking, and business development skills suitable for the role.
