As a BIM Apprentice, you will support the delivery and management of digital construction information across live projects while developing your technical knowledge and practical experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM). Working alongside BIM Coordinators, BIM Managers, design teams, and site teams, you will help ensure project information is produced, managed, and coordinated in line with company and industry standards.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the creation, review, and management of digital models using various software, digital platforms and other enabling technologies.
Supporting BIM teams in carrying out model coordination and clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and other coordination tools.
Managing and maintaining project information within the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring documentation is stored, shared, and updated correctly.
Carrying out quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) checks on project information to ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and company procedures.
Assisting in the preparation and review of BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project information requirements, and model management procedures.
Supporting the production and coordination of federated models by combining information from multiple disciplines.
Working closely with design teams, site teams, and external consultants to support collaboration and information exchange throughout the project lifecycle.
Attending project meetings and assisting with the communication of BIM related issues, updates, and actions.
Gaining site-based experience to understand how BIM information is applied in live construction environments, including sequencing, logistics, and construction methods.
Supporting the continuous improvement of digital processes through research into new technologies, automation, and innovation in BIM workflows.
Assisting with troubleshooting BIM-related issues and helping to maintain project documentation and compliance records.
Throughout the apprenticeship, these responsibilities will increase as skills and experience develop, progressing from supporting project teams to taking ownership of information management and coordination activities on live projects.Training:The BIM Apprenticeship provides a structured blend of practical workplace learning, formal training, and on-site experience to support the apprentice’s development into a competent BIM professional. Deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Sales Manager is updated
Process sales and purchase invoices for the branch

Analyse sales performance statistics and prepare/deliver customer review meetings

The Finance Assistant Apprenticeship at Malvern Panalytical offers a structured rotational programme across the Finance department, enabling you to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) whilst working toward recognised accounting qualifications.
MAIN PURPOSE OF APPRENTICESHIP:
Malvern Panalytical is committed to developing the next generation of recruits through the apprentice scheme. Apprentices will work towards formal apprenticeship qualifications whilst making a valuable contribution to the business under the guidance of experienced mentors, line managers and tutors. Together, apprentices will develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits needed to excel in their careers.
The apprentice will have a structured rotational programme across the Finance function to have hands-on experience within each of the departments, incorporating: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Reporting & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Fully funded training will be provided by BPP, where you will be supported through AAT level 3 and level 4 qualifications over your 3-year apprenticeship.
REPORTING LINE:
Reporting to the Early Careers Lead within Finance, apprentices will also be paired with an experienced mentor for the duration of the apprenticeship. Day-to-day workload management will switch to the relevant host department as the programme progresses. The partner training provider will also appoint a tutor to support the apprentice through completion of the apprenticeship standard requirements and end-point assessment. There are currently two other finance apprentices at MP who will support you during your qualifications.
