As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will join an experienced and supportive SEND team that values creativity, collaboration and continuous professional development. Job Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate SEND learning activities
Deliver targeted SEND interventions such as Speech and Language interventions
Assist with planning and preparing sensory and SEND-based activities
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support children's progress and wellbeing
Monitor and record children's learning and development, providing feedback to the class teacher
Encourage independence, curiosity and positive behaviour through effective classroom support
Qualifications/Experience
Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Strong SEND knowledge relevant to the role
Experience with complex needs such as Autism, Non-Verbal, Speech and Language needs
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
