JOB PURPOSE:
New Product & Design Engineer will have the responsibility for design, development and testing of application of new product concepts for our new technology development and existing products. You will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that the designs meet market needs, cost targets, and production requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently to initiate innovative and functional product designs and manage the design projects related to new product development across all Rust-Oleum product categories. Participate in research of internal and external voice of customer meetings, analyze customer needs and insights, and translate them into value-added design solutions. Design, prototype, and test product design to ensure quality, functionality, durability, manufacturability and correlate chemical and physical material to consumer application and use, cost, safety and environmental impact. Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure that the designs meet/exceed market/product needs, cost targets, and production requirements. Identify and select materials and components to meet design objectives. Identify, assess and select potential 3rd party design and /or manufacturing partners, and act as our project manager liaison with selected firm(s), travel to production facilities to evaluate processes and ensure compliance and quality to the standards. Develop and perform competitive assessments and analyses Act as the \"thought and team leader' for the business regarding product delivery system and packaging design. Create and/or guide engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances for designs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Material and Mechanical Engineering or other related fields. 2 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for various wipes of tools and delivery systems for coatings, cleaners and other consumer and industrial products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components Experience working with tooling manufacturers both domestically and internationally. A passion for design, engineering, problem solving, with critical thinking and creativity. Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team from project concept through commercialization. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills including good special acuity for design. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel as required.

As Regional Quality Manager for Europe & Africa (EUAF) your primary impact is to ensure excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing service and product quality, and maximizing customer satisfaction across the region. Your role

You define clear expectations and objectives for the quality team, ensuring they have the required resources and training to succeed in their quality initiatives;
You foster collaboration with various departments, such as project management, operations, client deliverables, and operational excellence, to embed a culture of quality throughout the organization;
You work closely with the Operating Excellence team to integrate improvement actions and initiatives into the IMS, facilitating a continuous improvement process.
Your track record
You have a bachelor’s in Quality management, Engineering, or Business Administration;
You have 5+ years of successful experience in similar role, demonstrating a track record of success in quality management;
You have strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards or other relevant industry-specific certifications;
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects and due dates;
You are fluent in English.

Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
While not a requirement for the role, a time served Fabricator / Welder with management experience would be ideal

The Role
Plan, manage and develop your product groups range of products for the UK market, managing them through the product lifecycle.lifecycle

About the role
The Senior Planning Officer is a key member of the County Council’s Planning Development Management service. They are expected to self-manage and function largely independently but should also be willing to engage and contribute to service-wide advancement and support the delivery of best practice through their planning knowledge and gained experiences. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you should have the following:
Educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.Proven experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.Experience using a CMMS TPM system.Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative in a fast-paced, challenging environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organisation.Must be a driven individual with a hunger to learn.The ability to understand and amend engineering drawings and diagrams.A working knowledge of variable speed drives, inverters, and PLC’s.

The role

Design Manager required in a Cladding company based in Liverpool.Roles and Responsibilities:
Leading the design resource allocated to a Project both within the department and using Design Sub Contractors to meet the requirements of the contracts.
Personal contribution to the Companies Design output, as may be necessary to meet a specific requirement.
Monitoring all Design output against project requirements. Taking such actions as may be necessary to ensure timely delivery of the Design.
Providing a report for allocated contracts to the Operations and Commercial Management for presentation at the Companies monthly meetings and attendance at that meeting if required.
Ensuring the Companies position is protected at all times during the design process which will require close collaboration with the relevant team
Leading meetings held between individual Designers, Project Managers and Commercial Managers. If required, attendance at and contribution to design progress meetings with the Customer or his representative to ensure that design output is reviewed and is meeting the Customers’ requirements and expectations.
Ensuring that the design teams output complies with the Companies Documented Quality Management System to ISO 9001
Ensuring that, where the Company has a ‘Designer’ status under CDM Regulations, the Company’s statutory obligations are discharged by the adequate production of Design Risk Assessment.
Liaising with Technical Managers to ensure the quality and adequacy of the Company’s Design output.
Liaising with the Senior Management Team and continually reviewing design process to update when business needs require.
Ensuring the prompt resolution of design related problems
From time to time carry out related functions as may be required by any of the Company’s Directors.
