While we are based in Leicester, our team works remotely across the UK. This is a hybrid or fully remote position, however, if you are based in or around Leicester, our office is open for you to work from.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of our client’s websites following plugin and platform updates, testing across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms
Identify issues, bugs, or discrepancies for in-design specifications, functionality, content, layout, or performance
Track plugin licenses, renewals, and client invoicing for plugin-related costs
Regular auditing of our client websites to check for settings being applied and correctly configured, whilst following an audit framework for new clients
Assist with website launch checklists, ensuring all steps are completed before sites go live
Add new content, imagery, and pages to websites using the site’s component library
Research, test and evaluate plugins or tools to identify the best options for our client’s needs
Organize and manage files for ongoing projects, keeping everything accessible and clearly labelled

Apply Agile and Lean methodologies in project development.
Work within the Software Delivery Lifecycle and SOx IT general controls framework.

Reading and understanding of technical drawings.
Job planning, showing initiative and being part of a team.
Safe and competent operation of manual machines and hand tools.
Inspection of components using the latest equipment.
Training:Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard ST1305. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
During term time in the first year the apprentice will spend all their time studying at college near Bristol returning to the workplace during holidays. In the second year the apprentice will spend 1 day a week remote learning and the rest of the week in the workplace at Burgess Hill.Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the Engineering Apprenticeship the Apprentice moves on to become a 'Junior Manufacturing Engineer' with the opportunity to become a fully skilled machinist.
