Join the team as a CNC Turner, contributing to the precision manufacturing. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in adhering to company procedures, OHM, CMM, and SOPM guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate two and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. Experience in CNC programming, preferably on Fanuc controls. Interpret and comprehend technical drawings. Utilise imperial measuring equipment. Manufacture aircraft components such as bushes, sleeves, and nuts for systems like landing gears and flap systems. Perform reworking and overhauling of components for the airline industry. Adhere to environmental procedures outlined by the company. Maintain a Practical Experience Record (PER) book. Provide training as needed, based on qualifications and experience. Ensure all duties comply with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.Education and Qualifications
Minimum GCSE level or equivalent. Proficient in written and spoken English. Experience with two and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. CNC programming experience.Working Conditions
Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday (depending on business needs), 37.5 hours per week. Ability to work shifts (06:30 – 14:30 and 14:25 – 22:25). Flexibility in working hours, including weekend overtime. Understanding of manual handling. Use of complex machinery.
