Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a temporary Education Psychologist for a contract supporting North East Lincolnshire Council. The successful applicants will be instrumental in enhancing client care through their contributions to the psychological services provided, including oversight of statutory processes for finalising Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and providing high-quality psychological advice as part of the statutory assessment and review procedures.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (part time considered)

Key Responsibilities

Provide weekly supervision for the assistant educational psychology team. Oversee statutory processes for finalising Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Attend and participate in panel meetings for EHCP requests (remotely). Report to the Head of Standards and Effectiveness. Collaborate closely with colleagues throughout Education Services and other departments. Maintain cooperative working relationships. Set, monitor, and evaluate standards at individual and team levels to ensure service quality. Ensure that quality data is reported and used in decision-making processes. Demonstrate a firm commitment to data security and confidentiality. Maintain professional practice to the highest standards, aligning with the service's objectives of continual improvement.

Key Requirements
Qualifications:

A degree in Psychology or equivalent (approved by BPS). HCPC Registration Approved Educational Psychology training.

Experience:

Experience of a staged approach to problem-solving. Experience working in a complex environment.
