Senior Communications Manager

The Opportunity Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager for an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend.

You will play an integral role in providing internal communication advice and support to the business in order to help drive employee engagement and business performance.

Your engaging communication style and your ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes will be the key to your success.

Key focus points include

Drive and develop communication strategies.

Manage and execute regular communications through a variety of channels including newsletter and intranet.
Maintain intranet to ensure content is dynamic, engaging, current and reflects company culture.
Work cohesively with key internal stakeholders to develop and deliver internal events such as town halls, both in person and online.
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure best practice internal communication standards, identify opportunities and engage with subject matter experts.

To be successful in this role you will possess

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical terms simply and creatively.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence.
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously.
Sound relationship building skills with proven ability to develop positive working relationships with multiple key stakeholders including senior executives.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
