SEN Teaching Assistant

Do you have a passion for guiding and supporting students as a SEN Teaching Assistant, helping them overcome challenges and achieve success?

Integra Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching assistant to support and motivate a student, helping to unlock their potential and thrive both academically and personally.

This is a part time role with 18 hours available split over the course of 3 days

Responsibilities:

Help the student develop social skills, build positive relationships, and manage emotions, providing a calm and supportive presence in challenging situations Provide tailored support to a student with a range of special educational needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, sensory impairments, and emotional or behavioral challenges To transport the young person to and from activities Plan and deliver activities in line with the pupils interest

Requirements:

Knowledge of various SEN conditions, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, is essential. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach when working with students who may present challenging behaviors or require additional support Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is required Clean UK driving licence with access to a car DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
