Commercial Gas Engineer
Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Bellshill/Central Belt - Salary up to £42,000
CBW are looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out maintenance and reactive work for a leading facilities provider. The role will be based from Bellshill but you will be required to provide cover for sites in Perth, Dundee & Inverness and the Central Belt.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time.Carry out reactive tasks throughout the sitesComplete all relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown worksUpdate customers CAFM system in real timeEnsure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessment prior to starting workSupervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.Participate in the teams oncall rota and be available for overtimePerson Specification:
A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.Appropriate Combustion/Gas/Oil Qualifications essentialTrade qualified Combustion Engineer with appropriate post apprenticeship experience desirable.Must have a full clean drivers’ licence.Legionella awareness (preferable – can provide training)Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential)MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential)First aid trained (preferable but not essential)Self-motivated and able to work unsupervisedAble to work as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable to changeMust be available to participate in an out of hour’s standby rota.Salary & Benefits:
