Senior Systems Engineer

Our partner is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the mechanical, electrical, and software design aspects of a project function seamlessly and the system meets the customer needs. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer: - Requirements Capture and management. - Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition. - System Modelling. - Development of Engineering Management Plans (Safety Management, Test Integration & Acceptance, Technical Risk Management). - Gathering of verification evidence for System Requirements. - Creation of Procurement Specifications for sub-systems and components. - Writing test specifications. - Conducting Design reviews. - Environmental Qualification Plans (EMC, Temperature, Shock & Vibration). Key Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Systems Engineer: - A degree in Engineering or physical sciences. - Minimum of 5 years’ systems engineering experience in a defence engineering (or similar) company. - Proficient in the use of requirements management tools (DOORS, Visure or R4J). - Work package management in JIRA. - Proficient in Report Writing.
