SMT Technician

The role of SMT Technician, in Essex, requires the smooth day-to-day running of a fast-paced Surface Mount Department working on two production lines and all other peripheral equipment often working to very tight time scales. Producing a large range of mixed technology printed multilayer & double-sided circuit PCBA’s used in the test and measurement industry,

The key responsibilities of the SMT Technician in Essex

To program, set & operate all equipment within a SMT environment including Screen printers Pick and Place machines AOI Vapor phase oven X-ray Rework and repair stations

The SMT Technician, based in Essex will have:

Experience working in SMT departments IPC610, IPC7711/21 & J-standard 001J preferred qualification. Hands on experience of the day to day running of pick and place equipment and working in SMT departments.
