CNC Apprentice

The successful candidate will be working alongside our current CNC engineers in the factory reporting to the factory floor team leader.

There day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Helping to keep the machines producing high quality parts Inspecting parts to ensure they are correct to drawing Ensuring that they keep their area neat and tidy Assisting with deburring parts to ensure they meet the high standards our customers have come to expect Upholding and adhering to all health and safety policies at all times Reporting any issues to factory floor team leader or senior members of staff Ensuring that they are meeting all requirements set out by the college

Training:
The learner will be studying the Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held

Training Outcome:

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity for a full-time role as a CNC setter operator.

We are a small company located on the outskirts of Thetford that pride ourselves not only on the high quality parts we produce for the aerospace industry but also the clean work environment in which we do so.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday between 7:30am and 4:45pm, Friday between 7:30am and 11:30pm
