Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Vehicle inspections ahead of council testing requirements Supporting the weekly vehicle checks and identifying any urgent issues to be fixed Working with our crew members to understand issues and provide replacement vehicles if needed, including supporting breakdowns while on shift Fault finding and diagnosing of fixes on a range of issues and equipment Servicing and replacement of key consumables on the vehicle Ordering parts from our suppliers, balancing cost and quality of components used Supporting the vehicle conversion program to develop new Ambulances onto the fleetTraining:
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Newark College, term time only This will fall within your contracted working hours
Training Outcome:
We are looking for a long-term hire, so a permanent position will be offered on successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 4.00pm or 8.00am - 5.00pm. No evenings, no weekends.
