Engineering apprenticeship - CNC machinist role
You will become trained in the use of CNC and manual machinery
You will use measuring devices and other tools associated with the manufacture of precision cutting tooling
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to grow and apply the skills and knowledge gained
You will develop both technical competencies and practical skills essential in becoming a successful and long serving manufacturing engineer with Guhring
Upon completion of this apprenticeship, there will be internal opportunities available within the company
This is a full-time position with potential for level 4 HNC progression
Training:
The apprenticeship qualification will be Level 3 Machining Technician - Machining pathway, delivered over a three-year period
The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, on a full-time basis for the first 7 months
After this, you will be required to attend one day per week for years 2 and 3, and at the company at all other times
Training Outcome:
This is a full-time position with potential for level 4 HNC progression.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8.30am - 2.30pm. 40 hours a week
