Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM/2 pm -10 pm 1 Saturday a month

Our client is dedicated to providing a safe, compliant, and supportive housing environment for young people. Our client is seeking a diligent and motivated Housing Management Officer to join their team, ensuring our properties meet high standards and our residents receive the best possible support.

Housing Management Officer Key Responsibilities:

Arrange and facilitate access for all health and safety compliance inspections. Oversee gas servicing, fire risk assessments, electrical testing, legionella assessments, asbestos surveys, and fire service inspections. Perform monthly fire safety checklists for each property. Report concerns to maintenance/landlords and ensure remedial actions are taken. Weekly fire alarm testing and scheduling of six-monthly evacuations where fire alarms are installed. Maintain records and store checklists on OMNI. Raise and follow up on repairs and maintenance to ensure property standards are met. Escalate concerns to relevant persons when necessary. Engage in joint working with support workers.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a Housing Management role. Valid driver's license, own vehicle, and business insurance. Enhanced DBS certification. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and engage in lone working situations.

The Package
This is a temporary, Housing Management worker role,40 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
