Apprentice Quality Engineer
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Through this Apprenticeship, you will learn and develop in a role with the following responsibilities:
To conduct 1st off, in-process & last off inspection activities in line with Control Plans & Work Instructions to maintain high quality levels of produced parts. To conduct Passed Inspection activity with finished parts prior to despatch. To aid and guide operators in the use and understanding of the work instruction details and compilation, and accuracy of their records. To compile & maintain subsequent records for effective traceability & retrieval. To record measurements, where required, for use in SPC duties. To conduct organised containment activities upon the discovery of internal concerns. To conduct & report internal product audits. The arranging & maintaining of the samples in the master sample room. Maintain Job Specific Training Records for operators. Take part in MSA/ R&R studies, for measuring equipment and attribute gauging. Health and Safety Compliance. COSH Management. Environmental compliance (Environmental Management System Team member). Quality Compliance (TS16949/ISO9001). Working alongside the Engineering team to implement Advanced Product Quality Planning for new product introductions; from feasibility studies, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, to control plans and six sigma production control.Training:
Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
Training Outcome:
Following successful completion of your Apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity too progress into a full-time employed position within the business. Further training and development opportunities may also be provided.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00. Friday, 08:00 - 12:00. Whilst at the training provider.
