Carpentry Apprentice

Work Description:

You will carry out construction and instalment of Garden Rooms. In the main you will be working as a Carpenter but will be required to work with on associated trades where necessary. 

What you’ll do at work:

To carry out construction and instalment of Garden Rooms under the guidance and supervision of a Mentor.

Where you’ll work:

Working in the gardens of occupied properties around Oxfordshire. A professional manner is required at all times. Our workshop is in Beckley Oxfordshire. An Apprentice will be required to get to Beckley for a 7.30 Start. Pick up can be arranged from the bottom of Barton Hill at 7.20am

Training:
While on site you will learn skills and be assessed by your ACE assessor for your NVQ ( site work across week). Site locations will vary and will be managed by Beckwood. While attending ACE you will be taught all the skills required to make you a knowledgeable, effective and efficient Carpenter (attend ACE Training one day a week). ACE Training based in Kidlington Oxford OX5 1JD well situated for buses and Trains, ample parking for drivers.

Training Outcome:

After this apprenticeship. 

Should you prove yourself over the course of a successful apprenticeship, you could progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship and develop your skills further.

Working Hours :
Monday = On Site 7.30AM to 4.00PM Tuesday = ACE Training 8.00AM to 4.30PM Wednesday = On Site 7.30AM to 4.00PM Thursday =On Site 7.30AM to 4.00PM Friday =On Site 7.30AM to 4.00PM 38 hours a week
