Engineering Operative Apprentice

As a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprentice, you’ll be part of a skilled workshop team producing high-quality precision components for a wide range of industries. Your role will include:

Learning to operate lathes and, as you progress, moving on to milling machines and CNC equipment Working to exact technical drawings and measurements Supporting the manufacture, assembly, and finishing of precision parts Using hand tools and measuring devices to maintain quality standards Assisting with maintenance of machines and equipment Following strict health and safety procedures Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and well-organised Supporting colleagues on day-to-day projects and urgent jobs

Training:

Training will be delivered in partnership with Hull College, a leading provider of engineering apprenticeships. You will spend most of your time gaining practical experience in our workshop, with regular training either on day release or in blocks to complete your Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification.



Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you could progress into a full-time role as a qualified Engineering Operative. There will also be opportunities for further training in milling, CNC machining, or other specialist engineering skills to support your career growth.
