Bricklaying Apprenticeship

Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to build or repair walls, chimneys, and other structures Mix and apply mortar Interpret construction drawings and plans Work safely on construction sites Produce high-quality finishes using traditional and modern techniques

Training:

Workplace: With employers in and around Plymouth
Training: Delivered at our Plympton, Plymouth training centre
(Attendance is required for 2 days every 2 weeks – employer transport support may be available.)

Training Outcome:

Work independently on residential, commercial, or heritage sites
Specialise in areas like:

Facework (decorative brickwork) Blockwork (internal walls) Heritage restoration Refractory brickwork (for industrial settings)

They specialise in a variety of bricklaying tasks including blockwork, general brickwork, extensions, loft conversions, and stonework Skills Group Find an Apprenticeship The company demonstrates a strong commitment to nurturing new talent, having successfully worked with apprentices from Skills Group and is now expanding its workforce with motivated individuals

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 4.00pm.
