Property Maintenance Apprentice
Assist with routine repairs and maintenance across building fabric, fixtures, and fittings (e.g., doors, windows, flooring, walls)
Support plumbing, electrical, and decorating works under supervision
Help with groundworks and external maintenance (e.g., guttering, drainage, fencing)
Learn to diagnose basic maintenance issues and recommend solutions
Follow health & safety guidelines and company policies on-site at all times
Assist with record-keeping of completed tasks and materials used
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Attend all necessary off-the-job training sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme
Develop customer service skills through respectful, professional conduct on all sites
Work as part of a team and report issues to the supervisor as required
Training:
The apprenticeship is delivered as a weekly day release at our campus in Stratford, E15.
You will be required to attend college one day a week.
Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Behavious, Skills and KnowledgeTraining Outcome:
Progress to a supervisor or team leader role in property or facilities maintenance Specialise in a specific trade (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, electrical) with further qualifications Advance to Level 3 or Level 4 apprenticeships in construction or building services Move into facilities management, site management, or compliance roles
Gain additional certifications (e.g., Health & Safety, PAT Testing, Gas Safe, etc.).

Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
