Childcare Apprentice

As a Childcare Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified staff to deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities to children aged 2–5. Your responsibilities will include:

· Supporting children’s learning and development through structured play and activities
· Assisting with feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines
· Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all children
· Observing and recording children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
· Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
· Participating in team meetings and training
· Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the setting
· Ensuring safeguarding and welfare procedures are always followed

This role is ideal for someone looking to start their childcare journey in a supportive, experienced team.

Training:

Training provided by Rochdale Training through monthly workplace visits.

Training Outcome:
Opportunity to secure a full-time, permanent position Further training and qualifications such as Level 3 in Early Years Career progression into senior childcare roles

Working Hours :
· Monday to Friday · 8.45am-4.15pm Mon-Fri term time only. · 35–37.5 hours per week (depending on setting requirements)
