Communications Apprentice

You will be joining a fast-paced communications team that thrives on creativity, collaboration and making an impact. We work across digital, print, PR and internal comms to engage a wide range of audiences. Whether it’s launching campaigns, managing social media, or crafting compelling content, we support each other and share ideas.

Whilst undertaking your apprenticeship you will work towards developing your skills, knowledge and experience, by carrying out the following duties:

Support the creation of content for websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases Help monitor engagement and analytics across platforms Assist in planning campaigns and internal communications Contribute fresh ideas to help grow our brand and voice Deal with a wide range of telephone and email enquiries from clients, colleagues, and external partners and stakeholders Maintain an efficient filing and electronic record document system Actively participate in regular progress reviews Become an active team member Undertake appropriate training as identified relevant to the role Act with professionalism and discretion around access to commercially/politically sensitive information Deliver services in a courteous and professional manner

Training:

On completion you will gain a Level 3 Multi Channel Marketer Qualification. The apprenticeship training will be delivered in the workplace, as you will receive visits from an assessor.

The apprenticeship will also include a proportion of 20% Off the Job Training and a robust programme of Mandatory Apprentice Training provided by Sandwell Council to include Workplace Professionalism and Equality & Diversity.



Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship is offered on a fixed term contract. However, the skills, knowledge and experience gained in this apprenticeship will allow you to gain future opportunities in the sector.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
