CNC Operator Apprentice

Throughout your time at Twiflex, you will spend periods of time in each cell of machines and work alongside skilled Machinists to learn the principles of each process. The machine tools include CNC lathes and machining centres, both horizontal and vertical. You will be running CNC machines which require programs to operate, and you will be trained to understand the programs and be able to read them from the machines screen.

You will be required to go to Leighton Buzzard College one day a week for the Level 3 Machining Technician qualification.

Training:
Level 3 Machining Technician Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths if required

Training Outcome:

To become a fully skilled CNC Operator, progressing through the company for a long and successful career with Twiflex on completion of the apprenticeship.
