Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children Play alongside and with children to support their play Supporting children's creative and imaginative experiences Maintaining development records on key children Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes Contributing to and promoting health and safety Ensuring the play area is always clean and tidy Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child

You should have a love of providing new and innovative activities and experiences indoors and outdoors as we have a huge garden area. Enjoy getting messy every single day and providing exciting opportunities for our little ones to explore and play with. Be able to make story times come alive with voices, props and encouraging group interaction.

A fundamental requirement we ask is that you are able to give the best cuddles and TLC after a tumble or fall. Most importantly we want you to ooze passion and fill the rooms with happiness and wonder.

Training:

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard.

Training will include paediatric first aid qualification.

This is a work-based programme which means that predominantly, your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours.

There are 12 sessions of classroom-based attendance. Once per week for 12 weeks in the evening on a Wednesday.

Training Outcome:

The nursery is committed to retaining staff and to ensuring that your knowledge and skill within the sector are always upheld with ongoing training.

Employer Description:
The Next Generation Day Nursery is located in Langwith and is a warm, friendly and welcoming nursery for babies and children from six weeks old until they go to school. The location creates the perfect environment for children to learn, explore and play - indoors and out.

Working Hours :
Working pattern is Monday to Friday, with flexibility required between the hours of 07:45 hrs to 17:45 hrs.
