Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Your typical day will look like: * 08:00 ARRIVAL * 08:40 Pupils arrive - greet at the door or 1:1 soft starts. * 09:00 English - Support reading and writing lessons. * 10:15 Break * 10:30 Maths * 12:00 Lunch (30 mins lunch, 30 mins supporting pupils) * 13:00 Pupils return for afternoon lessons * 15:15 End of school day for pupils * Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

Training:

You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including review & delivery, communication, pastoral, relationships & role modelling, learning & support, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.

Training Outcome:

As with any apprenticeship opportunity - if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.
