Apprentice Early Years Educator

Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children, with the support of a mentor Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play, following the EYFS Observe and assess children's development, using our online learning journal with the support from a mentor Drive initiatives that enhance children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the well-being of each child Help to prepare and serve healthy snacks and educating children in making healthy choices Maintain a clean, organised, and safe learning environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Training:
You will attend York College on a day release basis and receive training in the workplace for the remainder of your working week

Training Outcome:
After completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to progress into a full-time role with us

Employer Description:
We are a private day Nursery with 12 staff members, open all year round and have been established for nearly 30 years. We take babies from 3 months old right through to 4-5 years olds helping preschool children transition to school. Copmanthorpe Childcare Centre believes children learn through play and become confident learners and critical thinkers when they are in a happy, safe and secure enabling environment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday working hours between 8am and 6pm Shifts to be confirmed
