Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Integra Education are currently hiring for Higher Level Teaching Assistants in Wigan. As a HLTA, you will support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing assistance to students in both individual and group settings.

This role will be term time only 8:30-15:30 (Monday-Friday) to start in september 2025

Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and student supervision. Provide support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs. Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance. Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teachers when necessary

The ideal candidate should have:

Hold relevant qualifications (HLTA - TA Level 4) - desirable Previous teaching assistant experience Be flexible and patient Be able to communicate effectively within a team
