Metal Fabricator apprentice
Welding and fabrication of bespoke products.
Repetitive workload is kept to a minimum so jobs will change frequently.
Fast progression of skill sets by working with different materials.
Interpreting drawings to make fabricated products.
Training:
You will be working towards a Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship standard.
You will need to attend Cornwall College Camborne one day per week.
You will receive on and off the job training and support from an assessor and your employer.
Training Outcome:
The apprentice would continue to build on their skills, gaining experience.
Employer Description:
Metal Surgery do large scale heavy industrial fabrication in both mass production and prototypes. They work with Ferrous and non-ferrous welding, TIG and MIG. They operate countrywide and on occasion worldwide. • Diverse use and integration of all fabrication skills. • Small, close knit team. • Light gauge to heavy gauge welding.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8am - 4.15pm, Friday 8am-4pm.
