Level 6 Apprentice Highways Consultant

Assist in the design and development of highway and road infrastructure projects, from concept through to detailed design. Work with design software to produce technical drawings and models. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project delivery Contribute to site visits and surveys, assisting with data collection, inspections, and reporting. Stay up-to-date with relevant highway design standards and best practices, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual for Streets.

Training:

You will:

Attend UWE Bristol for part-time study on day release - one day (7 hours) per week Gain a BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering Degree Qualify as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) after passing your End-Point Assessment  

Training Outcome:

You will be well set up to continue a career as a Highways / Transport Consultant.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, generally 8:30am - 5:15pm, with an hour lunch. There may be some site visits during your working week. Working from home is discussed and agreed with the successful candidates line manager.
