Measuring work areas and setting out the first rows of bricks or blocks Mixing mortar by hand or with a mechanical mixer Applying mortar with a trowel and laying bricks Shaping and trimming bricks using hammers, chisels and power tools Masonry support system Applying fire barriers

Training:
Working towards completing level 2 Bricklayer Apprenticeship Standard Functional Skills in Englsih and maths if required Work based learning with attendance one day per week at Hertford Regional College

Training Outcome:
There will be opportunities for progression and a permanent position subject to performance

At ALB Brickwork we are a team of highly skilled bricklayers who are proficient in all aspects of bricklaying whether that be for commercial projects or residential homes. We work across all sectors and can tailor our services to the needs of the customer.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm
