Electrical Engineering Apprentice

Stratos Control Systems Limited are specialists in Industrial Process & Production Control panels. They will be moving from Thrapston to Corby, near Asda, in June 2025.

Their in-house workshop produces control panels of the highest quality, from simple rebuilds to complex control suites approved as an integrator by Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Honeywell.

Working within the engineering department, you will gain on-the-job training and experience through the apprenticeship programme and monitored professional development.

So what will you be learning in this role?

You will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and work alongside experienced engineers to learn industry standards and best practices Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Support fault-finding and troubleshooting activities on electrical equipment and learn about electrical safety regulations and ensure compliance in all tasks You will gain experience in using hand tools, test equipment, and software relevant to electrical engineering Working within the employer's health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

College course will begin in September 2025.



Training:
Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechatronics Pathway Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths if required

Training Outcome:

On completion of your apprenticeship the employer will discuss your career path and there could be a permanent role for you within the company.

Their in house workshop produces control panels of the highest quality, from simple rebuilds to complex control suites. They offer comprehensive support and maintenance contracts for a wide range of PLC and BMS systems.

Working Hours :
08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 08.00 to 14.30 Friday.
