The Role: Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will be involved with writing specifications, reviewing tenders, producing designs, providing site based activities including, testing and commissioning.
You will also support and lead the management of technical interfaces, particularly clients.

Key Responsibilities
- To work at a senior role in the management of projects; take management responsibility for project engineers, design engineers and CAD operators on their mentoring, objective setting, establish best practice, training and development
- Work as part of a team to design, build, test and commission engineering solutions to customer specifications and produce designs, drawings and documentation
- Technical support to the development of current and future systems architectures/designs and their implementation
- Support in processing client changes to contracts and management engineering solutions for customer projects
- Supervise, mentor and support Design Engineers to establish best practice, and help them fulfil their potential and development
The Right Person
You will need to have an excellent working knowledge of building, implementing and maintaining Rail systems and infrastructure on clients sites, Substantial experience of Rail Projects (Controls Systems) and operational requirements thereof as well as possessing the following key skills:
- An excellent working knowledge of Building, Implementing and Maintaining Rail Systems and Infrastructure
- In Depth knowledge of system design, including general arrangements, schematic diagrams, loop diagrams etc
- Experience producing Project Documentation (Functional Design Specifications, Test Procedures etc)
- Experience working as part of a team that has been involved in the design, build, test & commissioning of engineering solutions
