Job Title:      Head Chef – Events Venue

Salary:          £50,000

Location      London

We are excited to be working with this stunning Grade II listed venue who are renowned for hosting a variety of events from live music events and sports to exhibitions, meetings and street food festivals. They are seeking an innovative and passionate Head Chef to lead their culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, a meticulous eye for detail, and a dedication to providing an extraordinary dining experience. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that the events are complemented by exquisite cuisine.

Key Responsibilities of a Head Chef: 

Plan, cost manage and deliver all food production in both central and remote catering areas for events and on site catering outlets.Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet the diverse needs of our clientele.Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.Work closely with Head of Catering to customize menus and accommodate specific dietary requirements and preferences.Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee cost control to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.Stay updated with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in our culinary offerings.

What do we require from you?

Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef from an events venue or event catering backgroundStrong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Creative flair with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
