Apprentice Welder
Welding and building of skips and waste containers, performing Mig welding on steel assemblies to a high standard.
Ensure finished products conform to technical drawings and dimensional specifications.
Ensure welds are clean, strong, and meet quality requirements.
Verify correct placement of brackets, holes, and drain points for galvanising and assembly.
Training:
The Engineering Apprenticeship will typically take between 12-18 months to complete. You will attend Boston College for one day a week.
Training Outcome:
Leading to being a fully qualified welder and able to guide other new members of the team.
