Machining Technician Apprentice

Conduct safety checks of machinery and environment Measuring, calibrating and testing equipment Introduction to engineering machining processes, tools & equipment Assist in the machining of high quality precision engineered components

Training:

Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

The training will take place in our workshop at Avonside Engineering Ltd alongside attending Wiltshire College and University Centre Chippenham campus one day a week during term time

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, the candidate would be aiming to become a Precision Engineer

Established in 1984, Avonside Engineering Ltd is a CNC and conventional machining company, who offer a quick turnaround service in emergency repair work and prototyping, serving various sectors, such as oil and gas, automotive and food, to a professional standard.

Working Hours :
To be arranged. One day of attending Wiltshire college and University Centre a week.
