Apprentice General Labourer/Yard Operative
The successful candidate will be a customer focused, confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Order picking and loading customers’ as well as our company vehicles To give excellent customer service, ensuring that goods are booked out and in accurately Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required Be a team player - assisting on goods inward, learning products, checking correct goods received and putting away correctly Assisting with customer sales and service – processing orders accurately and efficiently Assisting in the assembly of timber components to order requirements, stacking / pulling products off shelves as well as carrying products to replenish throughout the warehouse Checking goods inwards by the set procedures Putting stock away into its correct bin location, rotating on a first in first out basis Having a pro-active attitude to stock levels generally, advising management or specific individuals as appropriate of low or out of stock situations, or slow moving/over stocks Awareness of health & safety - at all times work in a safe and responsible manner so as not to endanger your colleagues, customers, stock, plant, machinery or buildingsTraining:
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard All training will be delivered on site at the employers location

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
