Labourer

We currently require a number of Labourers for a leading manufacturer of building and construction products based in Bexhill-on-Sea area, working 5.30am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 1pm finish on Fridays. Within this position you will be responsible for packaging within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, full on the job training will be provided.

The production of high-quality products and operation of production machinery Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management successfully meeting packaging target times Manual handling and packing of products Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures

Labourer Desirable & Essential experience

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment operating machinery is highly desirable, but training can be provided An excellent level of health and safety in the workplace awareness, capable of working in a safe and efficient manner

We are keen to hear from General Labourers, Forklift truck drivers, Machine operator, manufacturing operative, production line workers, school leavers, and/or ex forces personnel.

Hourly rate: £11.65ph Temporary to Permanent Location: Bexhill-on-Sea Shifts: 5.30am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 1pm Fri Overtime available at a premium, x 1.5 etc, company pension matched up to 10%, share option scheme, plus employee benefits program, including shopping discounts, sick pay, cycle to work scheme etc.
