Early years Apprentice

We are looking for an Apprentice working as part of a team in the nursery you will be a key person for a small group of children, you will assist in meeting the individual needs of each child. You will supervise children during mealtimes, feeding children where applicable, toilet training, changing nappies, comforting children if distressed and encouraging children to rest when necessary. You must be willing to participate in routines, activities, assessments, observations and planning. You will be fully trained to understand and follow all child care protection policies and procedures and childcare and health and safety procedures and policies as well.

Training:

The successful applicant must be prepared to study for NVQ level 2 or 3 in childcare, depending on experience salary will be above the requirement for an apprentice, an immediate start is a possible subject to good references and DBS Check.

Training Outcome:

You can either progress to level 4, and with appropriate experience progress to be a nursery manager.

Working Hours :
Shift work between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
